coast to coast, back to back…

this ride report covers our ride from New York to L.A. and back, from August, 3 to August, 26. we’ll ride 6,500 miles in 23 days, on two consecutive coast-to-coast road trips. we’ll head from NY to Chicago, than take Route 66 to L.A., spending two days at Grand Canyon; after day-off in LA, we’ll head for New Orleans, than take route via Appalachian Mountains all the way to NY, via Washington D.C.

option: ride is from Richmond, VA to L.A. and back, via Chicago entering Route 66, than back to Richmond via New Orleans. this ride is 6,005 miles long. three riders.

Harley Around the World

Tristan, 42, retired professional soldier, motorcycle rider, world voyager; an amateur writer and photographer with associate degree in world history; rides custom 2012 Dyna Wide Glide.

HAW is 5-year voyage around the world in several stages based on continents. Territory of USA has been split on two conferences, West and East. Each conference has been split on two divisions, North and South. Each division consists of its states, with each being one daimyo.

Tristan

Tristan, 42, retired professional soldier, motorcycle rider, world voyager, amateur writer and photographer, triathlon athlete and martial artist. Joined gang in July 2011, being baptized and fully-fledged by Arthur himself. Tristan is youngest Emerald Knight by years-of-service, but is one of the most experienced and skilled warrior and biker, both, that has joined Emerald Knights since its inception.

Tristan holds Bachelor Degree in World History, from Southern California University. During his military career which spanned 22 years with U.S. Marines, Tristan has graduated from all military schools in professional NCO education pipeline, retiring as Sergeant Major; he served majority of his time in Force Recon and special operations units. Consequently, Tristan holds several black belts in martial arts of kyokoshin karate, brasilian jiu-jitsu, kung-fu and aikido.  On his free time, Tristan is physical fitness geek, avid triathlon athlete and motorcycle rider with 15+ miles ridden on his Harley-Davidson.

Upon retirement in June 2011, Tristan decided to join Emerald Knights Gang as North California Knight.

Emerald Knights

Emerald Knights are motorcycle club (MC) registered in Northern California. It is one of the most secretive of any MC with almost nothing to know about it except online aliases of its members, but is also one of the most dangerous outlaw motorcycle club of all one-percent. Emerald Knights is also serving as elite mercenary hub for special forces military personnel as well as an organization whose members use their MC as conduits for criminal enterprises, drug trafficking in this case. Emerald exclusively engage those bikers (a) that are retired servicemen of US and UK armed forces, or have served at least 8 years in military, and (b) who ride Harley Davidson bikes only, and (c) who are willing to use their wits for criminal activity.
